You did a really awesome job on this one, and the background is very fitting for the theme, and goes very well with the character. I also love the pose and the Cging and shading looks very well with this! Very awesome work done! I love this a lot.

Bogus: Hello, Doc! What's up!? Dr. Nim Rod: I want you to attack the fools you see on the screen! Bogus: Okay! He smashes the screen. Dr. Nim Rod: YOU IDIOT! That's not what I meant!
Background is amazing on this one and the character looks great as well and I like how you made it different from all the other characters and added the horns that unlike the rest seem to be a part of her.
My bad ^_^; and I could tell why. All the characters all have a "hat" type thing on their head and it gets kinda boring after a bit. Spice it up without changing too much is something that I wish I could see a little more often in fan-art you know? I sound as if I'm just rambling ^_^;
I know exactly what you mean Its like most Sonic characters that way, normally either a fox, or hedgehog. I always love it when I see the most obscene animal in Sonic Style, or even as a fan character, thus why mine are a Raccoon, Wombat and Flamingo XD
And your not rambling, well you are, but it has to do with the image, so I dont mind

Well, I haven't played Nights before, but I got interested in it when I heard a sequel is being made.
Yeah, for those reading this, a sequel is being made for Nights. The reasons I heard for them holding out make sense, as things weren't really right. That has changed with the Wii, however, as that is what it is being made for!
And I apologize if it sounds like I am insulting you, for I am not trying to do so. I mentioned the sequel because even though it sounds like, from your comment, you may not have heard abouyt it, but I wanted to make sure that, even if you did know, that others would know.
Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for doing this. I toatlly wasn't expecting this design, but that makes it even more awesome. I like it, and to know now that it wasn't what I was expecting makes me believe that you are an extremely competent artist even without concrete details.
And I didn't get to explain this before, but I gave reference pics in that note because in a previous attempt to get an idea across, you wanted reference pictures, so I thought that would help.
Also, I wasn't trying to insult you by giving you reference pics for fan characters. Even though a person may be familiar with a franchise, it may be difficult to imagine a proper fan character. In Warhammer 40,000, you get an idea for how the orks armor and weapons look, but I would still have a hard time imagining a personalized set of armor in the style of those orks.
Sorry for the trouble. I am thankful to have this beautiful piece of art made, and even more glad to have such a great artist and even greater person as a friend.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
